Salesforce ID converter & Google Drive files
Convert 15-character IDs to 18 characters
Classic Salesforce reports export case-sensitive 15-character record IDs, while the API (and spreadsheet functions like VLOOKUP) work best with the case-insensitive 18-character form. Select the range with your IDs and run — every valid 15-character ID in the selection is converted in place using Salesforce's official checksum algorithm. 18-character IDs and non-ID cells are left untouched.
Download Salesforce Files and Attachments to Google Drive
Select a range containing Salesforce record IDs (for example, the Id column
of a pulled Account list) and open
. Choose:
- what to fetch — Files (ContentDocuments), classic Attachments, or both;
- the target Drive folder (URL or ID; empty = My Drive root).
Every file attached to the selected records is downloaded into the folder, named
<RecordId>-<FileName> so you always know which record it belongs to.
Up to 50 records can be processed per run.
Upload a Google Drive file to Salesforce
In the same dialog, paste a Drive file URL or ID and the Salesforce record ID it should be linked to. The file is uploaded as a Salesforce File (ContentVersion) and attached to the record, visible in the record's Files related list.
